A power cut this afternoon has hit properties in Largs.
The outage took place at 3.30pm and has been reported to Scottish Power.
A spokesperson for Largs Community Resilience Team said that that matter had been reported and engineers were working to restore power to KA29 and KA30 postcodes by 5.45pm.
A Scottish Power spokesperson said: "We had no advance warning of this and only became aware of it at 3:31pm.
"Our control centre will attempt to reset the network remotely to restore power in stages, and our emergency response team are on their way to the area to investigate and repair the fault.
"Our team will work to get your power back on as quickly and as safely as possible by 5:45pm.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
