The relentless schedule keeps coming for Largs Thistle as they face up to a trip to Irvine Meadow on Wednesday evening.
Tonight's kick-off is 7.30pm - and Largs will be looking to make amends after a heavy defeat at Clydebank on Saturday.
The busy July and August schedule has seen teams play a glut of games in the PDM Buildbase West of Scotland League - and Largs have shown they can go toe to toe with the best after giving Auchinleck Talbot a scare last week before falling to a 2-1 defeat.
Manager Stuart Davidson maintains that Largs have been putting in a lot of effort into games - and haven't got their just rewards - and has urged his side to be clinical when chances emerge this evening.
He said: "You always know what you are going to get from Irvine Meadow - they are competitive and will battle and we need to go there and match that like we did at Auchinleck.
"We need to take our chances. Meadow possess a lot of threats and are dangerous from set pieces.
""I can't fault the hard work of the players - we have showed plenty of effort but it comes down to how you defend and how you take your chances."
