Largs face another tester against high-flying Darvel at home on Saturday - 2pm kick-off at Barrfields Park.

It has been a relentless schedule for Largs with four out of five games away from home - all against top teams in the PDM Buildbase Premier Division - and Davidson admits he is looking forward to the end of the midweek matches.

Thistle lost out 2-1 against Irvine Meadow on Wednesday evening after Meadow scored twice in the second half after William Sewell's first half header.
Largs have drafted in impressive right-back Sean McLeod from Greenock Morton after he impressed last season.
Defender Cory Hughes has picked up his third injury of the summer after having to come off against Bankies with a groin strain, while silky winger Jack Haggerty has a non-Covid related illness which is likely to rule him out of the coming games.
Davidson said: "Cory has been unlucky - he has had a knee injury and now it is a groin injury - he was great for us last season but it has been very stop start for him this season.
"Haggarty has also been unfortunate with injuries - and is now out of action for a few weeks I expect.
"I was looking forward to the two games a week beforehand but I do think it has affected us."
"The boys have been putting a lot of effort in without getting their just rewards.
"There have been some good individual and team performances and we haven't been getting anything out of it which has been frustrating but hopefully with a bit of resilience things will start turning.
This Saturday's opposition Darvel have had to cancel fixtures last Saturday and on Wednesday evening due to a number of positive Covid19 tests.
Davidson said: "Darvel have made a lot of big signings and will make it difficult - we have to stay organised and determined, and take our chances."
