Largs Thistle are gearing up for their final midweek league game of 2021 - with a testing trip away to Pollok.
Over the years, Largs have picked up some big wins at Newlandsfield Park- but it has been six years since Thistle last triumphed at the Glasgow ground.
Looking towards tonight's fixture in the PDM Buildbase West of Scotland Premier Division , boss Stuart Davidson is hoping to emulate his first victory at Thistle manager when Largs defeated Pollok at Newlandsfield Park 2-0 in 2015.
He said: "We need to get points on the board before the Scottish Cup starts on Saturday.
"I love going to Pollok it is a great ground and always a good atmosphere.
"There is no reason why we can't go and put in another good performance and get a result. "We need to re-group and give it everything.
"It is a hell of a long season and we are not going to panic - we will get better when we are healtiher and get the bodies back. There is much more to come from us."
Davidson said that the club has faced a severe injury toll in recent weeks - but has called for a big push for the final midweek game.
Pollok also have ex-Largs winger Alex McWaters featuring for them this season.
Pollok are riding high in the Premier Division sitting in fourth spot but suffered a defeat at Cumnock on Saturday, while Largs are in 16th spot in the 20 team league.
It is a 7pm kick-off.
