Ambulanace and fire crews rushed to the scene after a person had an accident with their mobility scooter in Largs.
The incident happened in late morning as a section of the road and pavement area was closed off until the ambulance arrived.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 11.45am on Wednesday, September 8 to an incident at Nelson Street, Largs.
“Operations Control mobilised one appliance and firefighters assisted a person trapped within a mobility scooter who was handed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.”
