The highest value streets in Largs and the surrounding villages have been revealed by property company Zoopla. 

Zoopla's Rich List for 2021 has been published with the lowdown on the country's most expensive streets based on the average house price.

Properties within Halkshill House and Knock Castle Estate rank as the highest value in Largs, with an average cost of £553,892. 

Four other Largs streets make the top ten list in North Ayrshire, with Pencil View and Kilburn Water ranked third and fourth in the authority. 

Houses on these streets are valued at an average of £508,842 and £480,375 respectively. 

Buchanan Street and Rockland Park in the town are ranked seventh and eighth in North Ayrshire, with average prices of £464,198 and £455,921. 

Summerlea Road in West Kilbride is the most expensive street in North Ayrshire, with average prices of £943,545. 

Also on the top ten list are Lawthorn in Irvine, Jacks View and Portencross in West Kilbride, and Eglinton Terrace in Skelmorlie.
