UPDATE: New vessel deployed after seabed damage to Largs ferry
The MV Loch Alainn is being sent to take over the Largs to Cumbrae ferry route.
The vessel, which usually operates the Colintraive to Rhubodach route, is expected at around 5pm this evening.
The MV Loch Shira requires to be docked for repairs after making contact with the seabed at Largs.
The service was stopped just after 1pm, but is expected to resume within the next few hours.
