An extra ferry is being redeployed to help support the Largs to Cumbrae ferry route.
The MV Isle of Cumbrae will arrive in Largs this evening and will take up service from tomorrow morning.
Queues leaving Cumbrae reached three hours earlier today, with queues of up to an hour for people heading to the island.
The MV Isle of Cumbrae was launched in 1976 and is the regular summer ferry for the Tarbet to Portavadie route.
