Four people have been taken to Crosshouse Hospital following an explosion in Ayr last night.
The blast happened in the Kincaidston area of the town just after 7pm, with four homes hit by the blast.
The explosion was reportedly heard for miles, with residents as far away as Coylton feeling the effects.
Two adults and two children were taken to hospital following a major emergency service response at the scene.
Investigations are still ongoing to establish what caused the blast, with one local councillor telling the BBC that it was possibly a gas leak.
