The ongoing strike which threatened to de-rail trains during Cop26 has come to an end after a deal was struck this evening.
The RMT (The National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers) agreed the deal over an on-going pay dispute which will also see Sunday strike action brought to an end.
The accepted offer will see rail workers get a 2.5 per cent pay rise, which will be backdated to April 1.
Workers will also receive a COP26 payment and improved conditions
