A major road into Largs has been named among the most dangerous in Scotland.
New data in the Dangerous Roads 2021 report from Ageas Insurance and the Road Safety Foundation has revealed the most dangerous roads in the country.
The information was brought together through crash and traffic data from the Department for Transport between 2017 and 2019.
Four roads in Scotland are labelled as 'highest risk', these are North Bridge in Edinburgh to Old Dalkeith Road, Esbank Road to A6094 in Bonnyrigg, Edinburgh Road to A199 in Haddington, and the A82 from Clifton to Tarbet in the Highlands.
Eight roads across the country are labelled as 'high risk', including from the Haylie Brae in Largs to Newton of Barr at Lochwinnoch.
Other roads in this category include Glasgow Road to Princes Street in Edinburgh, and Glasgow Road to Paisley Road West in the city.
