LARGS Thistle are aiming to finish the season on a high with a crucial win against Bonnyton as they fight to escape relegation from the Premier League.

The Barrfields side face the basement boys at home this Saturday and are in good form with three victories on the spin for the first time this season.
Bonnyton will also have their tails up after winning 8-0 against Newmains in the West of Scotland Cup while Thistle required an injury time winner to see off Yoker in very contrasting cup ties.
The good news for Largs is that injuries are clearing up, with Corey Hughes also nearing a returning to action.
Largs will also be buoyed by a 3-0 victory over the opposition in a pre-match friendly in July - and boss Stuart Davidson says he is keen to head into the Christmas break with a win.

He said: “We want to make it four wins in a row going into the Christmas break.
“We expect it to be very tough against Bonnyton, who have a good young team with lots of energy and they will be well coached.
“If we can get the win it means we finish the year on a high and sets us up nicely going into 2022.
“We are looking forward to it - and getting the break as well; but first things first we need that all important win on Saturday.”
Thistle progressed in the Kilmarnock Pie West of Scotland Cup after a brilliant free kick from Blair MacIntyre in stoppage time secured a 2-1 at Yoker on Saturday.
Davidsons said: “Fair play to Yoker - they were a good team and played some good football. They made it very hard for us to break them down.
“We had a lot of possession in the first half which we didn’t do a lot with and that was down to the way they played - and then then broke up the park and scored the first goal.
“We had that much possession we perhaps switched off defensively a wee bit and they scored the opener, but the boy finished it well
“It was good that we got a reaction from the players and we levelled before the break.”
A welcome sight for Davidson was seeing skipper Scott Adam back on the scoresheet for the first time since a 3-0 victory over Benburb on September 4.
Davidson said: “It was good to see ‘Addy’ back getting a goal. Scott is massive for us, from netting goals to his leadership qualities, so it was good to see him back.”
On the winning goal, Davidson said: “As soon as Blair MacIntyre picked up the ball I had a feeling he was going to stick it away.
“The Yoker keeper had some amazing point blank saves and we were beginning to think it was going to be one of those days, but wee Blair stood up to be counted.
“The substitutions in the game brought us some energy and finesse - Blair and Will Sewell gave us that, and Milky (Keir Milliken) thought he had scored with his first touch before the keeper made another brilliant save.
“It was about getting through to the next round and we managed that.”
Largs are sitting in 17th spot in the 20 team PDM Buildbase Premier League, and with as many as eight teams getting relegated, there is very little room for error. It is a 1.30pm kick-off at Barrfields on Saturday.
