A MAN has been arrested for possession of an offensive weapon in a Largs street.
The incident took place at noon on January 10 in Charles Street.
Police have confirmed that one man has been charged with having the dangerous item in his vehicle without a reasonable excuse.
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
