The Kilmarnock and District Model Railway Club is hosting their annual exhibition in the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine after a two year absence.
The event takes place on January 29 from 10am till 5pm and January 30 from 10am till 4pm.
This year the host club will be showing various layouts from clubs in Dundee, Renfrewshire and Kyle.
Traders include Lathalmond Models selling model railway components and Douglas Blades selling books and DVDs.
The exhibition also welcome Durham Trains of Stanley from the North of England with a wide range of bits and pieces for railway modelling.
The staff of the museum are also arranging a couple of workshops on Saturday and Sunday to give youngsters the opportunity to build items of railway interest.
