The Met Office have issued a number of weather warnings for the west of Scotland this weekend.
A yellow weather warning for snow and ice is active today from 3pm till midnight and Saturday from 5pm till Sunday at 3pm.
The Met Office say wintry showers will lead to some tricky travel conditions.
Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
There will probably be some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
Meanwhile weather forecasts suggest that there could also be high winds reaching 48mph on Saturday and 53mph on Sunday - see here
