Largs Thistle appealed the red card issued to defender Cory Hughes in Saturday's encounter with Kilwinning.
The appeal was fast tracked but the West of Scotland football authorites have decided that the red card will stand.
It means that the influential Largs defender will miss both the upcoming fixtures against St Roch's and Troon as he serves a two game suspension.
Hughes was red carded after a flashpoint on 25 minutes as ten man Largs valiantly fought back from two goals down to secure a share of the spoils. See the incident below.
Thistle are due to travel to St Roch's in the Kilmarnock Pie West of Scotland Cup this Saturday.
