THE West of Scotland Padel Centre is hosting the first ever LTA Tennis For Britain Grade 1 Padel event in Scotland this weekend.
Padel is a racquet sport that combines elements of tennis and squash where the games are officially played as doubles inside an enclosed area - played with a smaller perforated racquet.
The sport has been growing in Largs, Fairlie and West Kilbride.
The actoin starts tomorrow - with the finals taking place on Sunday to be attended by local dignitaries.
A club spokeswoman said: "This is a huge event for us and a real chance to enhance the rapidly growing reputation of the club.
"Matches will be live streamed and feature the best players from the UK and beyond."
