WAVERLEY bosses have thanked their supporters as work continues to restore the famous paddle steamer.
Maintenance works are underway on board in readiness for the summer season, with excitement building for the historic steamer's return to local waters.
A Waverley spokesperson said: "Our volunteer crew are hard at it in the new workshop at Waverley’s quayside.
"Gifts from our Amazon Wishlist have been really helpful in getting this workshop up and running, something we’re very grateful for."
The crew are currently focusing on getting all Waverley’s wood varnished and polished for the 2022 season.
