THISTLE winger Jack Haggerty is aiming for success on and off the park as his training business goes from strength to strength - with a rising Scotland star reaping the benefits.

He's also making an impact in the business world after setting up his company Empire Performance Coaching, which involves individual training and fitness techniques to boost personal performance.
Scotland and Club Brugge defender Jack Hendry is one of the players to be a part of the programme and Haggerty was thrilled to see him perform on the big stage against European giants PSG and Manchester City in the Champions League.
He said: "We cater for anyone from children to youth football right up to professional and the highest level.
"One of the highlights since setting up Empire Performance Coaching was heading down to Manchester City to see Jack Hendry play in the Champions League in the pinnacle football competition.
"It was massive for me personally. Jack was on loan with Melbourne but was injured and was looking to return to fitness.
"Players like Jack are top level because they are very skilful players already so we are look at drills which are more fitness-related.
"I worked with Jack for about 12 weeks and we are mates outside of football as I used to play with him at Celtic.
"We concentrate on improving individual aspects of players' performances - and we try and pinpoint where a player can do better and put them through their paces whether it is fitness or technical drills."
Haggerty says he is loving his time at Largs Thistle and believes the Barrfields side have what it takes to finish the season strongly.
The 26-year-old, who won the league title in New Zealand with Waterside Karori three seasons ago, said: "Everything has been going well and I am absolutely loving it at Largs.
"We would probably like to be in a better position in the league and we want to keep pushing our way up the league.
"Everyone is buzzing at the club and we have been putting in some strong performances in the league.
"We are also looking forward to the big Scottish Cup quarter-final against Petershill on March 12 and try and progress into the next round."
Looking back at the dramatic 2-2 draw with Kilwinning, Haggerty said: "At the end of the game we were actually a little bit disappointed not to take all three points.
"Although we were 2-0 down and down to ten men, we never gave up - anything can happen and we wanted to go out and redeem ourselves in the second half.
"We scored twice and Kilwinning had a man sent off so there was a certain sense of deja vu about the second half."
The winger nearly scored again against the Buffs last week, and said; "I was disappointed not to score after banging an effort off the post.
"I was keen to score a lot of goals this season as well as a lot of assists. I have managed it with assists but I have yet to score.
"I have hit the woodwork a few times, striking the crossbar from a free-kick at Cumnock in the Scottish Cup and had a few cleared off the line."

Top scorer in the Premier Division charts is Will Sewell on 21 goals and Haggerty is delighted to see his team-mate's hard work is paying off.
He said: "Will is having an absolutely amazing season and it is not just his goalscoring rate but his first touch and his general all-round game. He doesn't give defenders a moment's peace.
"At the end of training, Will is constantly working on his shooting and it's these little things that definitely do add up and hopefully he will continue to kick on and score a right few more.
"He is here, there and everywhere, and up against more physical defenders he is still able to be a real nuisance and hence why he has scored so many goals."
Haggerty suffered a number of niggling injuries and was then floored by a bacterial and viral infection which consigned him to his bed for a month.
He said: "I felt I was on really good form and I was confident I could make an impact - but the good news is that I am back to full fitness now.
"I reckon I now have 13 assists this season - I just need to get back into the goals but I am sure it will happen soon."
He believes that there is a strong inner confidence in the dressing room as Largs look to push their way up the league in the months ahead.
Haggerty added: "We have really looked the part at times and I believe we can be match for anyone in the league on our day.
"Even when results haven't gone our way, there is always a good buzz about training and we have confidence in ourselves we can bounce back.
"There are still plenty of tough games to come but we have it in our hands to get up the table and we have a good nucleus of lads who can kick on. This season isn't over by a long stretch."
l After Saturday's postponement against St Roch's in the Kilmarnock Pie West of Scotland Cup, Largs are hoping to secure a victory against Troon this weekend at Barrfields in the PDM Buildbase West of Scotland Premier Division. Kick-off is at 2pm.
