The replacement Gogo bridge is now in place in Largs.
However keen ramblers have been told to be patient a little longer as clear up works due to recent storms are now currently taking place.
Work to restore a well-used bridge at a popular Largs beauty spot has been under way over recent months - after a near two year campaign to have it repaired.
The bridge over the Gogo Burn in Halkshill Estate was closed off to the public in June 2020 amid safety fears.
The decision sparked a campaign by local ramblers and town councillor Ian Murdoch to have it restored.
