Still Game star given nod for top panto award after local performance
Two stars of the pantomime at Beacon Arts Centre in Greenock have been nominated for a top UK panto award.
Still Game’s Mark Cox and River City actor Jimmy Chisholm were shortlisted in the Best Ugly Sisters category of the UK Pantomime Association Awards.
The pair, who played ‘Senga’ and ‘Sadie’ at the Inverclyde venue in Cinderella last year, were whittled down to a final five by judges.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Trafalgar Theatre in London’s West End on April 19, which is being hosted by Christopher Biggins.
