Ayrshire violinist Nicola Benedetti will be one of the stars appearing in this evening's fundraising concert for Ukraine to be broadcast on ITV.
The acclaimed West Kilbride born musician said: "Music is no answer to this horrendous situation, but we will do what we can to raise money for the millions who are displaced and in need.
"We can only pray, as we do for all conflict currently taking place around the world, for it to end as soon as possible."
Tonight Nicola performs in ITV’s concert live from 8pm. Other artists performing include Ed Sheeran , Emeli Sandé, Snow Patrol and Camila Cabello. The concert is taking place in the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham.
The concert will also being streamed online on the ITV Hub and STV player. All in aid of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Humanitarian appeal.
