A giant military aircraft was spotted flying over the West of Scotland on Tuesday night.
The Airbus A400M of the Royal Air Force flew circuits over the west of the country including over North Ayrshire just to the east of Largs.
The aircraft stayed in the area for around an hour before heading back south to RAF Brize Norton where it had started its journey.
The plane was flying at around 4,500 feet during its exercise at a speed just below 300 knots ground speed.
