CELEBRATE local artist Dorothy Bruce will be exhibiting a selection landscape and still life paintings in Millport Gallery from today.
Well known for her bold, textural landscapes and coastal scenes, Dorothy’s evocative paintings depicting the moods and changing light of the Scottish weather have been exhibited widely in group exhibitions.
Her distinctive vision has been admired and well received and her work features in many prestigious private collections.
The exhibition will be open from noon until 4pm from Thursday until Sunday.
Millport Gallery owner Jim Thomson said: “ Dorothy Bruce is an original.
"She has been creating original and inspiring works of art for 50 years and this should be celebrated.
"This collection of her work includes original paintings, limited edition prints, cards, mugs and tiles."
