ScotRail has announced an emergency Sunday timetable for this Sunday with warm weather forecast during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee holiday weekend.
Last Sunday, ScotRail had failed to implement a temporary timetable amid an ongoing pay dispute with train drivers resulting in services being delayed and cancelled last minute.
Largs will receive a very limited of a train every two hours from this Sunday and every Sunday until futher notice which means trains will stop much earlier than usual
The services from Largs will be reduced to every two hours in both directions and trains will stop running earlier than they do during the week, These are as follows: Trains to Glasgow will depart at 0854 1054 1254 1454 1654 and 1854
Trains to Largs from Glasgow will depart at 0940 1140 1340 1540 1740 and 1940
Trains to Wemyss Bay are unaffected and will run as normal
Trains to/from Kilwinning will continue to run till 10pm.
