BREAKING: Tech fault on Cumbrae ferry leaves single vessel service (Image: Newsquest)
The Largs to Cumbrae ferry service is currently operating with only one vessel following a technical fault.
The MV Loch Shira has been withdrawn from service as an investigation is carried out.
The MV Loch Riddon will now operate the service alone, leaving Largs at quarter past and quarter to the hour, and leaving Cumbrae on the hour and half hour.
CalMac is advising that queues may be longer than usual on both sides of the water.
