Livingston and Carlisle United played out a tight pre-season friendly at Inveclyde National Sports Centre yesterday.
The Scottish side ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a goal from Bruce Anderson just before the break.
Carlisle said: "A great test in the muggy, close heat in Largs with chances for both teams."
The facility has been visited by a number of top teams in recent weeks as sides step up their preparations ahead of the new season.
