The much anticipated return of the Ferris Wheel to Largs seafront is underway.
The company behind the fairground attraction arrived in the green space near Vanduara on Monday afternoon to start setting up.
The 32-metre-tall wheel first came to the town last summer and was a hit with visitors.
The wheel’s operator applied to the council earlier this year to bring the attraction back for ten weeks every year until 2024.
Following discussions, the attraction will instead return for six weeks every summer at the site to the south of Vanduara on the promenade.
The conditions imposed by planners mean that the wheel will only be allowed to operate between 11am and 9.30pm each day.
Permissions allow for the attraction to run between the third Thursday in July and the first Monday in September for the next three years.
Thomson's Event Group, purchased the big wheel four years ago and since then it has been at Glasgow's Christmas market, Portobello beach and a wedding in Switzerland.
