Live music is back as the Largs Regatta Festival makes a big splash at the end of this month.

Buzzworks operation Scotts restaurant at Largs are bringing back their popular marquee at the yacht haven for the first time since 2019 with live bands signed up for the big occasion.
A Buzzworks spokesperson said: "We're proud to be supporting the Largs Regatta Festival once again this year, and with the welcome return of the marquee, we'll be playing host to a couple of guaranteed floor-fillers.
"Friday sees The Tritones take to the stage from 8pm for an evening of upbeat covers, while on Saturday from 7pm we'll have the scintillating sounds of local favourites the Mirrors."
Concert tickets for the Friday are available here tinyurl.com/y6c6frua and Saturday from here tinyurl.com/53hb77d4
The festival sees two days of keelboats, dinghies and catamarans of all classes racing.
On August 27, Keelboats race in the area to the north of Cumbrae while dinghy racing takes place around the cans within the Largs Channel.
On August 28, it's the famous Round Cumbraes Race - a long distance race around Big Cumbrae for the dinghies and catamarans, and both islands for keelboats.
Then, the following weekend, it's the return of the famous Scottish Two Handed Race.
