TRICKY weather conditions made it 'rough' going for players competing at Largs Golf Club's finals day.
Three of the finals went to the last green in a brilliant day of exciting action.
In the gents club championship, Cameron Aitken triumphed in a close battle against John Robertson. The final was a repeat of last year’s final, which was played in more traditional summer weather.
In the gents Bob Gunn Championship, it was another tight affair between Gerry McAllister and Ken Capes.
This game went right to the final hole and after missing the green left, Gerry had a great up and down to match Ken’s par four and win the match.
In the ladies final, Jennifer Linklater triumphed over Deborah Barton to win her ninth title and in the ladies Bronze Bucket Championship, Linda Taylor won through after another final which went the full distance against Ann Brooks.
A spokesperson said: "Thank you to all the players, caddies, referees and those who came out to spectate.
"Congratulations go to all the winners and finalists."
