A highly respected theatre director from Largs will be giving a unique insight into the power of drama at a special workshop to be held in Largs this Friday.


Professor Maggie Kinloch will be appearing at the Clark Memorial Church Hall at the special one-off evening on August 19 at 7.30pm. Entry is by donation for the DEC/Red Cross Ukraine Fund.
Maggie is a very experienced public speaker and creative writer, and urges young people with an interest in drama, to pop along to the event.
She is Professor Emerita and former Deputy Principal of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. 
Her years of experience in both participatory theatre across all parts of society and in her professional directing work have given her a depth and breadth of experience. In addition, she has travelled globally to teach, and to observe, theatre and theatre education in over 30 countries. 
A founding director of the National Theatre of Scotland, Maggie serves on the Boards of the Scottish Funding Council and Creative Scotland.
