If you are heading on the M40 this weekend or planning to make the most of your weekend in Buckinghamshire, this is the disruption you can expect.

There are several motorway closures on M40 as well as disruption on the A40, according to National Highways England.

This is mostly due to maintenance works and other repairs.

If you are set to be travelling within these areas at that sort of time, then take note of what diversions will be in place.

Here’s a list of the closures between Friday, August 19 and Sunday, August 21.

M40 road closures from Friday, August 19

The M40 northbound carriageway between junctions 3 and 4 will be closed from 9 pm on Friday evening until 5 am on Saturday morning.

The closure is due to maintenance works.

The southbound entry sliproad on junction 3 will also be closed for maintenance work.

The closure will last from 10 pm on Friday until 6 am on Saturday morning.
