The rail strike failed to dampen spirits as Millport Country Music Festival had a sunshine start on Friday.
Two Ways Home - songwriters and alt-country duo Isabella Mariee – originally from Vienna – and Lewis Fowler, pictured below, kicked things off on the Spotlight Stage at midday, and Toronto's Kenny Foster, launched the main Nashfield Stage on Saturday as the event opened in blazing sunshine.
The expectant crowd is looking forward to big names Sunny Sweeney and Drake White later today.
