NORTH Ayrshire Council has confirmed arrangements for Monday – as the nation pays its respect for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
On Monday, the day of the Bank Holiday, the local authority is respecting the Queen’s funeral and the majority of services, including bin collections, will be suspended for the day.
All buildings, including schools, educational establishments, early years centres, libraries, household recycling centres and depots will be closed. Public toilets will remain open as usual.
Buildings will re-open and all services will resume on Tuesday. If your bin is due to be emptied on Tuesday, it will be emptied as normal. Further information will be provided shortly for those households and customers who would normally have their bins emptied on a Monday, with information on when these will now be emptied.
