A second Largs business has annoucned its closure following the news that Goody 2 Shoes will not be renewing its lease.
Zero-waste shop Minimal Footprint is also set to close its doors due to rising costs, with a final day of trading on October 8.
Owner Marina Etchells said: "We managed to open and survive the pandemic & two lockdowns but we just can't survive the rapid rise in cost of living.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my wonderful customers for their support, chats, engagements...everything. It's been some rollercoaster!
"All stock must go. If there is anything anyone would like me to order in in bulk please pop me a PM.
"Although we are closing, I hope you can all give yourselves a pat on the back for the amount of plastic you have saved in just 2 years.
"And hopefully it's made us all a little bit more mindful of what we are using on a day-to-day basis.
"My little shop was just the beginning....keep doing what you're doing. Much love...Minimal Footprint."
