LARGS musical legend Benny Gallagher made his long awaited return to stage as he performed at the Harbour Arts Centre in Irvine on Friday and Saturday night.
Accompanying Benny was Deacon Blue pianist Jim Prime, while backing vocals were provided by acapella group Juniper Three.
Completing the line-up was Ayrshire-based musician Mick Lamont on bass and guitar.
As part of Gallagher and Lyle, Benny partnered Graham Lyle over many years and they produced many big hits including 'Breakaway' and 'I wanna stay with you'.
Their musical achievements were celebrated with Largs Players producing a musical inspired on their works called Caledonia USA, which was a sell-out across five evenings in 2016.
