Thistle boss Stuart Davidson is demanding a vast improvement in this Saturday's cup cracker at Beith after branding their latest defeat as 'unacceptable'.

Largs Thistle are sitting in 13th position in the 16 team Premier Division with seven points from eight games - and are now turning their attention to the South of Scotland Cup for some hopeful cheer.
Against the Bankies on Saturday, Largs lost 3-2 after a second half fightback - but carelessly conceded a third goal after a breakaway from a Largs corner which was ultimately their downfall.
The good news for Largs is that their strikeforce has been bolstered by new signing David Ramsay from Irvine Meadow who made an immediate impact with a debut goal on Saturday, while Scott Lewis has returned after a lengthy suspension.
But the storm clouds were gathering at full-time as the Largs manager told the News he had had enough of hard luck stories.
Davidson said: "I am not going to praise them for the second half as the game is 90 minutes and maybe I have been beating about the bush too much in recent weeks.
"We can't switch on and off in the manner we have been doing in the last two games - We never turned up in the first 45 minutes against Kilwinning either.
"I had warned the players this before the Clydebank game but we gave the ball away cheaply, didn't get tight enough, and there was no desire to stop Clydebank from passing and shooting and we got everything we deserved in the first half."
We managed to get ourselves back in the game; we were just concentrating on getting the next goal and we get it and we give away a goal from our own corner.
"We don't react well enough in their box to keep the ball in there and keep it alive and then we are not set up right when they break and we don't do enough to stop them and gave ourselves a mountain to climb.
"We reacted again and get another goal back, and to be honest I thought we were going to go and get the equaliser but we killed ourselves by being naive and making stupid fouls and letting them waste time and kill the game.
"You can still go to places not perform well and get something from the game but if you are naive towards the end and let them kill the game then you have no chance."
Laurie McMaster came closest to equalising with a dangerous cross come shot. "I think the keeper was beat from Laurie McMaster's shot," said Davidson,"as he wasn't getting there but unfortunately it just went wide.
"At half-time I told them it wasn't good enough that they had dropped standards, they have not competed enough and I pointed out the fact that we are not the biggest of clubs but the boys get well looked after and there are people who run about after the boys all week and we have two cracking physios who look after their welfare great and we have a great bunch of fans who turn up home and away and I think it is about time we give them something to put a smile on their face.
"And to be fair the boys did something and could have given the fans something to go home happy about but we let ourselves down in certain instances.
"We need to be at it from the first minute against Beith; you can't just switch on and off.
"We are going to need a hard work at training and get them in and work hard and have a good chat about it because it was unacceptable."
Largs Thistle are sitting in 13th position in the 16 team Premier Division with seven points from eight games.
Midfielders David McGrath and Sean McLeod have been injured, while long serving Scott Adam is having a knee operation.
