Two people are in hospital after a serious road crash on the A78 between Wemyss Bay and Inverkip.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said:
"Around 11.25 pm on Saturday, 15 October 2022, police were called to a serious road crash involving a Toyota Yaris and VW Golf on the A78 near Inverkip.
"Both the 59-year-old male driver of the Toyota Yaris and the 22-year-old male driver of the VW Golf were taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
"Enquiries into the crash are ongoing."
The road re-opened at 9am.
