Music in West Kilbride is presenting cellist Waynne Kwon and pianist Mihai Ritivoiu on November 11.
The event is sponsored by the Tunnell Trust, and takes place in the Village Hall at 7.30pm.
Australian-Korean cellist Waynne Kwon has established himself as one of the outstanding cellists of his generation, having won numerous prestigious awards and competitions and has performed concertos with leading orchestras such as the BBC Philharmonic. He has performed in prestigious venues around the world such as the Sydney Opera House.
Born in Bucharest, Mihai Ritivoiu is a laureate of numerous national and international competitions, most notably the George Enescu International Competition. He leads an international career performing solo and chamber music recitals in Europe and Asia,
Both are winners of the Tunnell Trust’s prestigious awards scheme for talented young musicians.
