Largs Thistle face a tricky trip away to West of Scotland Premier League leaders Darvel this evening.
Thistle are heading into the match in good form with three wins on the bounce while their East Ayrshire opponents, who won the league last season, recorded a 2-1 win at basement boys Petershill at the weekend.
Darvel were one of only two teams in the Premier League Largs failed to take points from last season - but Largs boss Stuart Davidson believes his side can go to Recreation Park this evening with confidence.
He said: "We need to go into this game with the same attitude and work-rate. Darvel are a really good side with top players and ability and players that are used to winning. We just want to go down there and give a good account of ourselves and see what we can get."
Darvel have been on great form of late but have not been infallible at home, losing to Cumnock 2-1 earlier in the season.
Tonight's game kicks off at 7.30pm.
