PASSENGERS travelling on CalMac ferry services are being urged to 'show respect' to staff at all times.
The ferry operator has reiterated that abusing staff due to disrupted sailings is not acceptable on any of its routes after a spate of incidents.
A company spokesperson said: “Our frontline colleagues are the heart of our organisation and are working hard to help customers have the best experience possible when travelling with us.
“While we understand our customers can get frustrated, particularly at the moment when sailings are regularly being disrupted by poor weather, aggressive behaviour is never acceptable.
“To the minority who can forget this, please bear in mind that everyone at CalMac has a home to get to as well.”
