Excitement is building as Largs is gearing up for the big return of Yuletide Night this evening with Santa's parade and a late night shopping extravaganza.


It has been a three year wait as Largs Events group have pulled out all the stop for the festive special with shops all over town opening up with mulled wine and goodies on offer.
A 'Starlight Stage' will be erected in Aitken Street and Santa will be leaving Kwik Fit at 6pm and heading down the Main Street to his grotto.
The Children's Yuletide Mascot Treasure Hunt will be taking place on the evening.


Find the mascots on Yuletide Evening including Disney, Minion and cartoon characters.
Entry forms are available from Bus Top Toy Shop, AD Paton's, Oak Vets, Buena Onda, Moorings Knitwear, The Fishworks and Tea in the Square.


A number of businesses in and around Largs Town Centre will be open with free goodies.
Eat Cycling will be offering free glasses of mulled wine at their premises at 39 Nelson Street, while the neighbouring Jenny's Wardrope will also be open offering refreshments, discounts, a craft table and lucky dip.
Buena Onda restaurant on Largs seafront will be open until 9.30pm - they will have the barbecue on outside for chestnuts and marshmallow skewers. Nardini's at the Moorings will also be open.
Free hot chocolate will be served an Indigo Eats in Gallowgate Street.
Thorne Travel will be offering mince pies and a free raffle for a travel voucher.
Hays Travel in Largs are going to be organising a raffle to help little Alara Kavak to get the life changing treatment she needs in America
The travel agents in Tron Place will be holding some fun activities to raise more funds on Largs Yuletide Night.

Boutique Hair Spa at Largs Pierhead will be selling tickets for Alara's concert fundraiser which takes place on Sunday.
Thru Decades Upcycled at 28 Brisbane Road and Over the Moon at 126 Main Street will be offering shop discounts.
Adore in Aitken Street will be offering a glass of fizz whilst you browse, plus a 10% discount on any purchases that evening.

Pine marten Plants have free nibbles for customers. 
Studio 44 Gallery in 44 Boyd Street will be welcoming visitors to a free glass of wine as they host an Elements exhibition. 
Hooked on Pets in the Main Street are offering various Yuletide promotions on the night.

Riviera cafe in Gallowgate Street will be open until 8pm with mulled wine. 
Pop into The Fish Works where there will be a visit from The Grinch for Alara’s Little Legs fundraising.

There will also be free Candy Canes and Christmas cake.

If you are looking for live music, Sharp's Bar in Nelson Street will see Kael Brown performing from 6pm-9pm.
Head to the Bus Stop Toy Shop in Irvine Road for a glass of wine (juice for the kids), nibbles and some festive discounts. 
 Pop in to see Deli Il Cardo in Main Street and get yourself a cup of lentil soup or mulled wine for the grown ups, pizza, canapés and a lucky dip for the wee ones.

The Wee Craft Shop in Main Street has discounts, while you can pop into Ivory Mac gift shop in Brisbane Road and enjoy refreshments, and Geraldo's in the town centre will also be open with free Christmas cake and Arran Gold Cream Liqueur. 

Inspired in 36 Boyd Street will be open until 8pm with free mulled wine and Christmas pies.

Look out for various stalls on the night including Largs Thistle who will be selling the latest club merchandise.

The Douglas Park Project bears will be in the Main Street with calendars for sale and an opportunity to take a selfie with the bears. Largs Dementia Friendly group will also have a stall. 

Largs Community Resilience volunteers will also be out in force to support the event on the evening to assist with public safety.
