Greenock Philharmonic Choir are holding their Christmas Concert on December 10 at 7:30pm.
The concert will be in the Lyle Kirk, Union Street, and the choir, which includes choral singers from Largs and district, are delighted once again to be joined by the Riverside Youth Band.
Music will include Pergolesi’s ‘Magnificat’, ‘In Terra Pax’ by Gerald Finzi and festive favourites such as, ‘In the Bleak Midwinter, ‘I Saw Three Ships’, two John Rutter carols and ‘Jingle Bells’.
There will also be carols for everybody to join in with. The choir will be conducted by Andrew McTaggart, the soprano soloist will be Caitlin Mackenzie, and accompaniment will be by organist Andrew Forbes.
