A GROUP of 100 senior citizens got in the spirit this week at the annual Christmas party within Skelmorlie Community Centre.
Members were able to celebrate with friends after a two-year absence brought upon by the Covid pandemic.
Millar Catering served up a tasty festive meal and entertainment was provided by the Ian Walker Band and Jimmy Scott.
A spokesperson said: "Thanks to all those who made donations and bought community calendars. This, along with a grant from North Ayrshire Council, funds the party.
"A special mention also goes out to the community centre caretaker who decorated the hall."
The senior citizens party has been running for nearly 50 years and has become a much-loved local institution.
