LARGS Academy has once again featured as the best-performing school in Ayrshire for 2022.

The rankings have been revealed by the Sunday Times in the 30th edition of their Parent Power guide to secondary schools in the UK.
Largs Academy is top in the district with the secondary school ranked 33rd overall in Scotland.
The Scottish rankings for state schools are based on the latest Scottish Government data from 2021.
Cllr Alan Hill, of the leading SNP group in North Ayrshire Council, said: "I am delighted to hear the news.
"That said, I am not a great fan of league tables or schools as they fail to take account of issues such as deprecation.
"Largs Academy continues, however, to go from strength to strength and congratulations to all of the teaching staff."
Independent councillor Ian Murdoch said: "Historically the academic achievements at Largs Academy have been very high and the school is a great asset to the area and the children within it.
"Largs had had outstanding results over the years and hopefully that continues - and it has been a very difficult time and a testament to their hard work and the staff at the school that they can still achieve such first results."
Conservative councillor Tom Marshall added: "This is a good reflection of excellent staff and well motivated pupils."
