Thistle face second placed Beith in a long awaited home encounter -their first in nearly two months.

Largs Thistle have urged supporters to turn out or the big game which is a 1.30pm kick-off at Barrfields Park.

Largs have already beaten Beith this season in a memorable 4-3 away win but were on the wrong end of two penalty decisions as they fell 4-1 in the reverse league fixture and will wanting to make amends.

Last season, Largs recorded an impressive 8-1 win against the Garnock Valley side at Barrfields with some glorious goals including this strike from Thistle midfielder Stuart Faulds.

Davidson said: "We were beaten by Beith a few weeks ago but I thought we played alright in that game and were quite unlucky with two pivotal penalty decisions going against us.
"Beith are a very good side and they have strengthened since the last time, and are a good attacking side with good defenders and midfielders. It has the makings of a good game at home and we need to make sure we can match them and attack them - and we want to win all our games, particularly at home."
Thistle have moved down a placing to ninth spot after the recent round of Premier League fixtures - Largs game at Kirkintilloch Rob Roy was called off last weekend due to a waterlogged park while the midwee match at Talbot was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
