The Cameron Centre in Largs has a busy line-up of activities and is all about fun and friendship.
From the weekly draw, to keep fit, knitting and bingo, there is plenty going on!
The winners of the weekly draw held on Monday 16 January were:- Betty McKaig, Irene Carter, Betty McKaig and Sylvie Isted
Every Monday the draw takes place at 11am. Winners given a £5 voucher which must be used four weeks from date of draw.
The busy schedule includes the following:
Every Monday at 11.45am till 12.45pm: - Keep fit with Sharon from KA Leisure. 2pm -3pm: - Art Group
Every Tuesday from 10am till 4pm: - the Centre will welcome anyone over 60 within the community to come in and enjoy free tea/coffee/hot chocolate, biscuit, have a chat or read a newspaper.
Every Thursday at 1pm till 3pm: - Knit and Knatter a very happy chatty afternoon
Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 2pm till 3pm: - Eyes down for Bingo.
Every 4th Wednesday from 10am till 12pm: - Dementia Advisor Linda from Alzheimer Scotland will give support and information as required
Every 2nd Friday from 10am till 12pm: - Bacon or sausage butty with tea/coffee for £2.
Every 2nd Tuesday - The Sensory Impaired Support Group: Next visit will be on Tuesday 14 February from 10am till 11.30am
The Tea Bar/Café is open daily from 10am till 4pm except on Friday when it is open from 10am till 2pm.
The Cameron Centre welcomes all members/new members to pop in for a heat and some social time.
