Largs Thistle 2008s team have made an excellent start to their 2023 campaign - with three consecutive victories.
On 14th January, Largs defeated Bellfield Boys away at Kilmarnock in the league - two goals from Alex Renton, one from Aidan Hodge on his debut, finished off with a Jamie Ennis goal.
Back to home league action on the 21st January, and Largs were determined to beat 2nd in the table Glenburn. With first half goals from Finlay Watt and John Cole, Glenburn pulled one back in the 2nd half, but a strong Largs defence saw out the game out.
In the third game last Saturday, Largs showed their dominance, with a comfortable win at home against Crosshouse in round 2 of the Wallace Gemmell Shield, scoring four.
Cammy Greenham scored a penalty, followed by an own goal (from a John Cole corner). Jayden McBlayne got the third with a powerful header and Conn Martin hit a wonder-strike from outside the 18 yard box.
