NHS Ayrshire & Arran has received a very generous donation from CJ Lang & Son Ltd, wholesaler for SPAR Scotland.
Two members of staff from the CJ Lang marketing team visited University Hospital Crosshouse recently to present a cheque for £1,000.
The money will be used to benefit patients and staff as part of the Endowment Fund.
Paula Middleton, SPAR Scotland Marketing Manager, said: “Community is really important to SPAR and we like to support local organisations and charities whenever we can.
"Our motto is ‘you’re not just our customers, you’re our neighbours’ and we try to apply this to the local communities in which our stores are based."
Jacqueline Nicol, Acute Site Director for University Hospital Crosshouse said, “We are incredibly grateful to SPAR Scotland for their extremely generous donation."
