Largs Cronies Burns Club held its 33rd Annual Dinner at the Willowbank Hotel.

The proceedings were opened with a welcome to members and guests from chairman, president Brian Jackson.
Following on from this, Grace was said by Rev Jonathan Fleming.
The haggis was addressed by David Caldwell, having been piped in by club piper, Allan Wilson.
The principal speaker for the evening was past president Bert Thomson, who delivered a well-crafted “Immortal Memory”, whilst vice president Angus Middleton, proposed the “Toast to the Lasses”.
The evening’s entertainment included recitations from David Galt (The Soldier’s Return) and Alister Sim of Dalry Burns Club (Death and Doctor Hornbook). Singers, Willie Menzies and Rev Jonathan Fleming, entertained with a varied selection of Burns’ songs.
The president read the fraternal greeting cards received from kindred Burns Clubs and committee member Jimmy Law proposed the "Toast to the Largs Cronies Burns Club".
The raffle raised the sum of £250 which goes towards the Annual Schools' Competition.
During the course of the evening, the president announced that the committee had decided to honour founder member and long serving club treasurer, Craig Anderson, by making him the club’s first honorary president.
Craig was unable to attend this year’s dinner due to continuing ill health however an official presentation will be made to him at this year’s AGM.
A most enjoyable evening was concluded with a "Vote of Thanks" given by Past President Robert Honeyman, followed by rousing renditions of "The Star of Robbie Burns" and "Auld Lang Syne".
